A 48-year-old Sparks man was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center on Saturday for life threatening injuries when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a PT Cruiser driven by a 58-year-old Sun Valley woman. The PT cruiser turned left in front of the westbound motorcycle at Victorian Ave. and Second Street, ejecting the rider. The last update on the rider’s condition was that he was in surgery for his injuries. No names had been released as of Saturday afternoon. The Sparks Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) is continuing the investigation and will have further information in the days to follow.
