Quick, a 16-year-old Sparks resident, was raped and murdered in 2006. The Holly Quick Memorial Garden was created in May 2009 as a place of memory and reflection. The garden is dedicated to her memory and the memories of all crime victims in Washoe County. A memorial wall at the garden’s expansion serves as a mounting surface for bronze plaques placed in memory of the victims of crimes.
