On Wednesday, the Regional Gang Unit arrested a 17-year-old juvenile believed to be responsible for the shooting of a 22-year-old Reno resident. Sentencing of habitual criminal
RENO — On Tuesday, James Laren Brooks was convicted and sentenced to a prison term of five to 15 years by Judge Connie Steinheimer on charges relating to drug possession and drug sales.
The conviction and sentence was the result of a several-month investigation by the Sparks Police Department Crime Suppression Unit as well as the Northern Nevada Repeat Offender Program.

RENO — A man was shot twice in a fight early Tuesday morning.

RENO — On March 25, at about 8:25 p.m., officers from the Reno Police Department responded to Renown emergency room in regard to a victim of a stabbing that had just occurred in the area of Yori and Grove avenues.
